In collaboration with Victoria University of Wellington, Massey University and WellingtonNZ, we were proud to deliver two special Pasifika networking events, a Breakfast Session at Victoria University and a Lunch Session at Massey University. Bringing together students, aspiring entrepreneurs, business owners, and community leaders in a space centred around culture, connection, and inspiration.
Both events were made even more special with incredible catering provided by our talented local Pasifika businesses, Papa’s Cakes and Amilagis, who served up delicious island-inspired food that brought warmth and familiarity to the gatherings while showcasing the excellence within our own community.
A highlight of the programme was hearing from our amazing panel speakers, who generously shared their personal and professional journeys in business. Through honest conversations and powerful storytelling, they spoke about the importance of embracing their Pasifika identity and values, and how culture, family, resilience, service, and community continue to shape the way they lead, grow, and succeed in business today.
The sessions created meaningful opportunities for attendees to connect, learn, and see themselves reflected in successful Pasifika leadership and entrepreneurship. From practical insights to heartfelt encouragement, the conversations reinforced the value of staying grounded in who we are while pursuing growth and opportunity.
We are incredibly grateful to our partners, speakers, caterers, and everyone who attended and contributed to the energy of these events. Together, we continue to create spaces that uplift, empower, and celebrate Pasifika excellence across our business community.
